Extensions can be damaged by incorrect care or improper brushing. However, even with the best brush, proper technique is of great importance. Here are some helpful tips for brushing extensions:

1. Start at the tips
   To remove knots, start brushing at the ends of your hair and gradually work your way up. If you place the brush directly at the roots, it can make it even harder to get through your knotted hair.
2. Detangling spray for easier combing
   A leave-in treatment such as our Detangler Spray can make brushing easier. Spray it onto the lengths and ends of the hair from a distance before brushing.
3. Mindfulness with wet hair
   Wet hair is more sensitive and prone to breakage. Ideally, you should only brush your hair once it is dry. To prevent knots after washing, brush your hair thoroughly before washing. Do not wash it upside down. Also use a hair mask after shampooing. Gently pat your hair dry with a towel after washing. If brushing your hair when it is wet is unavoidable for you, we recommend using a special detangling brush and being extra gentle.
4. Brush carefully, especially near the bonds
   Be particularly careful when brushing near the bonds to avoid damaging them.
5. Prevent morning knots
   To prevent tangling overnight, tie your hair loosely or braid it before going to bed. This will protect the extensions from friction while you sleep and will make it easier to brush your hair in the morning.
6. Care for your brush:
   Clean the hairbrush with water and a mild shampoo when necessary. Avoid exposing it to strong heat for long periods of time, such as from a hot hair dryer. This could deform the plastic bristles.
